It would appear that the social, pseudo-anonymous, proxy Scroogle is now being blocked by Google. Apparently Google don’t like people having their privacy while using their service. (In reality, Google took down their simple API that Scroogle was scrapping so it is not like Scroogle couldn’t get it working again, it would just take more work)

Lame! I switched to Google Sharing a few months ago, which proxies a number of Google services. Worth a look http://www.googlesharing.net/
